Tan Cui from the Qing Dynasty wrote in A Gazetteer of Yunnan “Yunnan is renowned for its Pu-Er, with its six major tea tree mountains, namely Youle, Gedeng, Yi Bang, Mangzhi, Man Zhuang, and Man Sa altogether having a circumference of 461km."
Sourced from Gedeng Shan of Yunnan, this raw Pu-Er leaves and branches are brightly black, the tea hints flowery, fruity and sweet aroma. Its brew is brightly yellow, with a long-lasting fragrance and a slight and short-lived bitter taste.
